What is it?
Dysport® is a type of injection that utilizes the same medicine as Botox® to relax dynamic wrinkles. These neuro inhibitors work quickly to soften and smooth lines that may be making you look tired, angry, or older than you are. Dysport® is used to relax wrinkles of expression such as frown lines. On average, Dysport® usually cost less than Botox®, and we have found that it takes effect in less time, usually relaxing wrinkles in only 3-4 days as opposed to Botox® that can take 7-10 days.
What is it used for?
Dysport® is usually used to treat fine lines of expression, such as frown lines. With aging, these lines become visible even if the person is relaxed. Clients complain that they appear angry or tired even though they are not. Botulinum present in Dysport® relaxes the muscles responsible for these lines by affecting their movement, thus diminishing these lines and preventing them from getting deeper.
