Sun Damage Oakville

Sun Damage Oakville

Sun Damage Oakville

On a pleasant day, it feels relaxing to feel the sunlight bathe your skin. However, in the long run, excessive exposure to the sunlight can put you at risk for wrinkles, age spots, and potential skin cancer. The heat dries out areas of unprotected skin and depletes your natural supply of lubricating oils while the ultraviolet (UV) radiation can cause burning and long-term changes in the skin structure. The natural process of aging is inevitable and sun damage further reduces your skins luster. At Light Touch Med Spa, our latest services such as Botox, Juvederm, and laser skin treatments can minimize the effects of sun damage, therefore leaving you with optimal satisfaction and self-confidence.

Juvederm

Approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Juvederm is one of the injectable facial fillers that is doctor recommended in Canada and worldwide. Using Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a natural substance found in your body, Juvederm gently restores volume, softens deep folds, and diminishes unwanted wrinkles. On average, one to two syringes of juvederm should suffice in replenishing your youthful appearance, however, treatment varies with each individual. Once your juvederm treatment is completed, you may experience temporary and mild redness and swelling in the administered injection site, which will disappear in less than seven days.

Botox

Made from botulinum toxin, Botox prides itself in being one of the most popular aesthetic treatments which reduce fine lines and wrinkles by paralyzing the underlying muscles. When administering Botox, our licensed physicians/nurses evaluate facial muscle movement which helps them determine facial lines. Moreover, our trusted team injects several tiny amounts of botox directly into the muscle that causes the unwelcoming lines. While Botox is not a permanent treatment, most patients require repeated treatments over the course of three to four months to ensure and maintain your healthy rejuvenated skin.
