What Is Revanesse?

Hyaluronic Acid

As the skin ages, the body’s ability to produce HA is greatly reduced causing loss of volume and wrinkles to develop.

How Revanesse Works
The skin is comprised of 3 key layers, the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous. The epidermis is the outside layer of the skin containing skin cells that are constantly being renewed. The middle layer is the dermis, this layer holds both collagen and elastin. Collagen provides needed support to the skin while elastin provides both strength and flexibility. Lastly, the deepest layer, the subcutaneous, is beneath the dermis. This layer supports the two layers above it. HA is found within all layers of the skin, holding moisture while keeping the skin hydrated.
In younger skin, cells are renewed quickly and often, but this process slows down significantly as the body ages. As the skin begins to slow down, the skin produces less HA, collagen and elastin which ultimately causes the skin to thin. Combine this with external elements such as sun exposure, diet, stress etc. the skin begins to lose volume, and develops lines and wrinkles.
Revanesse products are used to add HA back to the skin, restoring much needed volume and filling in lines and wrinkles. The gel integrates naturally into the tissue and allows vital nutrients such as oxygen and hormones to continue to pass through the skin.
